Dr. Martens and Alpha Industries have joined forces to honor their workwear heritage with a new collection. Both renowned brands, originating in the 1960s, have transcended their industrial beginnings to resonate with various subcultures across the decades, from factory settings to music festivals.
The Dr. Martens x Alpha Industries collaboration revisits the distinctive designs that set them apart. Notably, it showcases the iconic Alpha Industries MA-1 flight jacket, known for its bright lining and functional pockets, alongside Dr. Martens’ classic footwear. The collection embodies a shared commitment to authenticity and resilience.
The collection includes the Tarik boot, reimagined with Smooth leather and Nylon, featuring a unique sleeve pocket inspired by the MA-1 jacket’s utility-focused design. It sports contrasting red and black laces and a removable Alpha Industries pull tab. The 1460 Ben boot also receives a contemporary update with the same materials, maintaining the essence of both brands.
The collaboration extends to accessories with the Alpha Backpack, a blend of functionality and style. The collection launches on November 9 through both brands’ official sites, with prices ranging from $180 USD to $220 USD.
