Swiss luxury watchmaker Franck Muller ushers in the Lunar New Year with a spectacular celebration, introducing two exquisite limited-edition models to commemorate the Year of the Dragon. The Maison proudly presents the Cintrée Curvex Ryoko Kaneta Dragon and three captivating iterations of the Vanguard Dragon Slim Skeleton, crafted to captivate enthusiasts with their artistic prowess.
In collaboration with the talented Japanese artist Ryoko Kaneta, renowned for her dreamy and ephemeral landscapes that seamlessly blend with anime-style aesthetics, the Cintrée Curvex Ryoko Kaneta Dragon emerges as a visual masterpiece. Adorned in a Tiffany blue hue, the 33mm-wide timepiece is housed in the Cintrée Curvex’s iconic curved tonneau-shaped case.
The dragon takes center stage on the tonal and stamped guilloché dial, cleverly reinterpreted as 12 individual anthropomorphic figures, each discreetly positioned behind its designated Arabic numeral. Powering this limited edition is the MVT FM 2536-SC self-winding movement, featuring a bidirectional rotor system and an impressive 42-hour power reserve.
For the Vanguard Dragon Slim Skeleton, available in three versions—Rouge, Vert, and Color Dreams—each variant boasts a dragon engraving on the caseback, complemented by its corresponding hue on the dial. Rouge and Vert showcase tinted sapphire crystals on their casebacks, while Color Dreams features multicolored numerals and a clear caseback. Encased in dazzling tonneau-shaped cases adorned with pavé diamonds, these models reveal intricately crafted in-house skeletonized movements through openworked dials.
Limited to 500 examples, the Cintrée Curvex Ryoko Kaneta Dragon is a true collector’s item, while the Vanguard Dragon Slim Skeleton is produced in only 10 pieces per colorway, adding an extra layer of exclusivity. Both models are exclusive releases for the Asia Pacific region, inviting enthusiasts to explore the fusion of artistry and horological innovation.
