In a spectacular tribute to its 60-year anniversary and historic Triple Crown victories, McLaren has unveiled the breathtaking “3-7-59 Theme” 750S, showcasing some of the most intricate bespoke livery in its history. Crafted by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), this masterpiece, first revealed at the Velocity Invitational in California, required over 1200 hours of meticulous work.
Honoring McLaren’s triumphant moments at the Indianapolis 500, the Monaco Grand Prix, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the livery pays homage to the iconic race numbers—3, 7, and 59. Noteworthy figures such as Lando Norris, Pato O’Ward, Derek Bell, and Michael McDonagh graced the presentation, highlighting the collaboration between McLaren F1 and IndyCar.
The 3-7-59 Theme seamlessly integrates the race numbers into a vibrant collage of over 20 colors, adorning the exterior of each of the six bespoke 750S examples. Already sold, these unique variations allow customers to choose between a 750S coupe or Spider, ensuring each remains a truly collectible masterpiece.
McLaren CEO Michael Leiters expressed pride in the project, stating, “The 3-7-59 Theme takes inspiration from both [motorsport and supercar excellence], as a showcase of extreme performance that pays tribute to our Triple Crown success. The most challenging project ever delivered by McLaren Special Operations is a truly stunning expression of McLaren’s industry-leading paint expertise, on a supercar that sets a new benchmark in its class.”
The interior of the vehicle reflects McLaren’s racing heritage, featuring bespoke elements such as a Triple Crown logo stitched into the headrests and etched graphite Alcantara. Artwork on the doorsills, pedals, and a unique dedication plaque further elevate the exclusivity of this remarkable vehicle, cementing its status as a symbol of McLaren’s legacy and commitment to pushing boundaries in motorsport and supercar excellence.
