The iconic rapper and creative was was previously snapped at Wimbledon wearing a MAINS x New Era hat sparking speculation that a new collection from the dormant brand was in the works. Now Skepta has officially announced the return of his brand during a conversation with Vogue business where he describes the new collection as “staple, crazy, beautiful, wearable clothes”.
Skepta is quietly becoming creative force in various industries from music to fashion and it seems he has taken time away from the brand to really map out what he wants MAINS to represent and really hone down on the design aesthetics by hiring new lead designer Mikey Pearce along with graphic designs from Johnson Orchid.
The upcoming presentation of MAINS London’s new collection will take place at London Fashion Week at 8 p.m. GMT on September 16 with the venue to be announced soon.
