Orient continues to augment its Mako series with the latest introduction, the Mako 40. Available in five distinct colorways, three options come with metal bracelets, while the remaining two are accompanied by leather straps.
The new Mako 40 presents a more compact case size compared to its predecessors, with a diameter just slightly under 40mm. Both the case and bezel are crafted from stainless steel, paired with a classic dial design that amalgamates readability and practicality.
The metal bracelet versions feature dials in essential shades such as black, navy, and white. On the other hand, the Apricot dial is paired with a brown, pull-through calfskin strap, while the Lilac-hued model is matched with gray.
True to its roots, the Mako 40 is a diver’s watch at heart, boasting a water resistance of up to 20 bars. It’s driven by an in-house F6722 automatic movement with 40 hours of power reserve, ensuring reliable, precise, and accurate timekeeping.
The Mako 40 melds simplicity, sophistication, and sportiness, designed to complement any outfit, occasion, and wearer. Now available on Orient’s official website, this range of timepieces is priced between £330 – £350 GBP (approximately $424 – $450 USD). This new offering exemplifies Orient’s commitment to crafting timepieces that blend form, function, and fashion.
