Maserati has introduced its very first limited edition MC20, aptly named the “Notte” (Italian for ‘night’). This exclusive model, limited to just 50 units, pays homage to Maserati’s storied racing history, capturing the essence of nocturnal mystique and the allure of darkness.
Designed in collaboration with Maserati reference driver and former GT1 world champion, Andrea Bertolini, the MC20 “Notte” boasts a striking matte “nero essenza” finish that radiates even in low light conditions. Bertolini’s influence is evident in the matte white gold detailing on the Trident logo, side insignias, and the Maserati script, a nod to the brand’s motorsport heritage.
The exterior features 20-inch matte black birdcage wheels with matte white gold accents and black brake calipers, giving the car a sleek, predatory stance. The interior is equally captivating, with 6-way power sport seats in Alcantara black and grey, complemented by contrast yellow stitching and carbon fiber inserts on the Alcantara sport steering wheel. Each MC20 “Notte” includes an exclusive metal plate and a “UNA DI 50” plaque to highlight its rarity.
Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design, emphasized the customization aspect, stating, “Fuoriserie means ‘custom-built’ in Italian, and our Trident’s customization program is conceived to create one-of-a-kind rolling sculptures for our clients. MC20 Notte celebrates the thrill of racing and the allure of the night, combining supreme performance and Italian elegance with a touch of mystery.”
To celebrate the launch, Maserati released a teaser film featuring the “Notte” in action. After an exclusive preview for Maserati Tridente members, the MC20 “Notte” is now available to super sports car collectors and track enthusiasts worldwide. Pricing and availability details can be obtained through official Maserati channels.
