In a groundbreaking collaboration, Massena LAB and Revolution have come together to introduce the exquisite Uni-Race 1949, a contemporary mechanical chronograph that beautifully marries their shared admiration for historical timepieces.
Embodying an elegant mid-century aesthetic, the Uni-Racer 1949 draws inspiration from Patek Philippe’s iconic Ref. 130, known for its striking black lacquer dial and luminous Roman numeral sector ring. This timeless design is faithfully recreated in the timepiece, presented in a 39mm stainless steel case.
The dial features the classic “Base 1000” tachymeter encircling the sector track, while two chronograph sub-dials are elegantly positioned at the 3 and 9 o’clock marks. Enhancing its allure, the watch boasts a pair of lume-filled sword hands with a captivating blue steeled finish. On the caseback, a star engraving graces the center, alongside the Massena LAB logo. Completing the look is a deerskin leather strap, secured with a signature tang buckle made of stainless steel.
The heart of this exquisite time-teller is the hand-winding Sellita SW 510 M Elabore caliber, offering an impressive power reserve of up to 58 hours. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800vph and maintains water resistance up to 50 meters.
Limited to only 120 pieces, the Massena LAB x Revolution Uni-Racer 1949 watch will be available for $3,750 USD. Mark your calendars for the exclusive release on July 28, 10 a.m. EST, exclusively via Revolution. This remarkable timepiece is a testament to the shared passion for horology, blending the allure of the past with the precision of modern craftsmanship.
