The 911 S/T Heritage Edition. Capped at just 1963 units worldwide and priced at £231,610, the UK is set to witness deliveries by the end of the year.
Taking cues from Porsche’s GT models rather than the Turbo-based Sport Classic, the 911 S/T features a naturally aspirated engine from the GT3 RS, combined with a manual transmission and a road-oriented chassis. The 4-litre flat-six engine, capable of revving up to 9000rpm, outputs 517bhp and 465Nm of torque. A reengineered six-speed manual transmission, lighter by 10.5kg than a GT3’s, propels the car to hit 62mph in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 186mph.
Crafted using the body of the GT3 and GT3 Touring, the S/T features carbon fibre-reinforced plastic panels, including unique front wings and traditional door handles, contrasting with a standard 911’s flush units. The S/T is lightweight, with a weight of 1380kg, making it the lightest 992-generation 911 to date. It’s the only 911 to fuse a double-wishbone front suspension from Porsche’s GT models without the rear-steer system, catering to road driving rather than track use.
The S/T, a Heritage Edition model, embraces high-end design with a cabin that features a carbon fibre roll cage and luxurious leather. Optional Heritage Design packages provide unique colour options and custom decals for the exterior. Porsche’s extensive Paint to Sample program also allows for full customisation.
